Jessica is driven by lifting others up. Where others see challenge, Jessica sees opportunity, and she is committed to doing the right thing and doing it well. As a native Houstonian growing up in Houston’s rough and tough West End, she learned at an early age that helping others was both the right thing to do and her responsibility on behalf of her community. Having the heart and mind of a servant-leader led Jessica into a successful career in fundraising. With a 17-year history in nonprofit management including fundraising and direct service delivery, what she loves most is meeting challenges and providing solutions with imagination, insight and ingenuity.
After completing a BA in Government at UT-Austin, Jessica began her career as a Development Assistant at Casa de Esperanza in Houston. Prior to joining Dini Spheris, Jessica worked as a Senior Associate and then a Major Gifts Manager at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she was responsible for donor cultivation, strategy and solicitation. In her nine years there Jessica worked on two capital campaigns totaling $975 million and carried a portfolio of 150 major donors.
For her clients, Jessica knows how to ignite inspiration and passion around an organization’s mission, and how to strategically leverage that passion for transformational results. She helps each client craft the roadmap they need to identify stakeholders, create meaningful engagements, fuel activities with purpose and ultimately see the client’s vision meet with success.
